From December 15- 23 we will celebrate the Misa de
Gallo in St Carthage’s Cathedral.
Masses on these days are celebrated as Solemn Votive Masses or Masses for a special intention in honour of Mary, Mother of God.
Although traditionally held in the early hours of the morning, to accommodate the needs of the members of our community who have different work schedules, we will celebrate in the evenings at 6.00pm (except Saturday December 16 and 23 – 7.30pm).
The practice of Misa de Gallo is a great source of spiritual nourishment and strengthens our relationship with family and friends.
Come be a part of this tradition. Let us show our devotion to our Blessed Mother and heighten the anticipation of the birth of Jesus.
